Hey, we’re here! Orange Groove Pilates Studio. Maybe you’ve driven by our location, found us online, or seen our big orange Pilates sign above our front door and wondered, “But what is Pilates?” Let's answer your questions about who Orange Groove Pilates Studio is and what exactly is Pilates?

First and foremost, Orange Groove Pilates Studio is a Pilates Fitness Studio in Brunswick, Georgia featuring Classical Mat Pilates and Pilates-inspired Group Fitness Classes. If you are looking to add more cardio to your routine, strengthen your body, burn body fat or get out of the house to try a new thing, we have a class for you. Studio classes are focused on getting the body moving. Each student at Orange Groove Pilates is unique. Their bodies tell a varied story; thus, we focus on motivating each person to reach their personal potential.

One student’s range of motion may be limited, while another student is super flexible. One person may be getting back into exercise, while another is looking for a new challenge. Wherever you are, we encourage you to listen to your body, to push for more energy, but never to do more than you have control over. We offer multiple exercise options to start you where you are physically.

Why do I need Pilates?

Pilates is a movement principle that mimics how we naturally move when walking, tying a shoe, or bending over for instance. Pilates trains the mind and body to use itself more effectively to increase flexibility, balance, agility, and strength while reducing body fatigue and injury.

Who should practice Pilates?

Pilates is for everybody and every “body” (meaning body type) simply because it can be modified to meet the needs of the student.
